Today some of us were asked to redo their practical assessment. Mr John also gave us back our scores. I got a 10/10 score. I'm really happy with that score.

Today we had the practical assessment where I played the song 'Ode to Joy' in the flute. I think I did really well but I could have done a bit better.

Today Mr. John checked our reflection booklet and our blog. I made sure I did all the entries in the booklet but not in the blog.

Today I played the song 'Ode to Joy' on the flute in front of the class to practice. I did way better than the last time I played in front of the class

Today some of us were called to the front to play their chosen pieces for the instrument playing assessment. I played but I forgot one part. I need to start memorizing the whole song

Today we had a test about Bach where we had a text to read about Bach and then we had to answer some questions. I think I did well

Today we discussed about what we were going to play for our instrument playing assessment. Some of us were asked to play their chosen pieces in front of the class.

Today we had the baroque essay test where we had to answer several questions. I think I did well and will pas but I could've done better

Today we discussed about our upcoming music assessment which is the baroque essay. We discussed about baroque music

Today we had the singing assessment singing Santa Lucia which is an Italian song. I think I did well but I need to learn to be more confident and make sure I get all the notes.

Today we practiced singing 'Santa Lucia' as a class again. Some of us also went in front of the class to sing it but I wasn't picked to sing it. I learned that we have to sing loud and clear.

Today we practiced singing the song 'Santa Lucia' as a whole class. Some of us had trouble singing the song because the song is in Italian. I almost memorized the melody though.

Today is the first day of term 4. We discussed about the assessments that are scheduled for the term. We discussed about the first assessment which is singing a western song 'Santa Lucia'. We practiced singing the song a few times.

Today we discussed about which music composition we will choose to use as the background music in our PE assessment which is movement composition. We also took pictures for the singing assessment.

Today we submitted our assessment tasks which were the baroque booklet and the 32 bars melody making. Nathalie did her music singing assessment to because she was absent.

Today the teacher explained more about the 32 bars melody composition and we got the chords and the pattern that we have to follow for the melody. Next week we will submit the booklet and music composition.

Today we finished our music reflection on our journal and we also downloaded the finale program to make our 32 bars composition.

Today we were given the chords for our melody making and mr John gave us homework which is making a 16 bar composition with the chords. In the next class we will bring our USB or laptop to download the finale program.

Today we started making the music composition based on chords. The teachers also explained about how you use the finale program to make the notation. Next time we will learn more about making the melody.

Today we learnt about chords and triads. We were asked to stand up and say them aloud in front of the class to see if we understood and if we were really listening.

Today we discussed about sharps, flats and how we can find how many sharps and flats there are by using the intervals. I understood the flats and sharps so I didn't find it really hard.

Today in music we learnt about tetra chords, intervals and a bit about the chords. I had a hard time remembering the theory with tetra chords but i soon understood it.

Today we did the singing assessment, singing the song 'Hari Merdeka'. We sang the song with a partner. I got a good score for the assessment and I'm really proud of myself

Today Mr. John was absent so Mr. Sadrakh was the substitute. We learnt about major scales like C major scales and G major scales and about intervals.

Today we practiced for our music singing assessment by singing the song as a class. We also auditioned for the music instrument today and didn't make it to piano so I joined flute.

Today we were given the lyric sheet for the song 'hari merdeka' for our music singing assessment. The whole class also practiced singing the song. We had to memorize the lyrics.
